I stayed at all the hotels in town when I first moved here while I was looking for a place to live. I only stayed at most hotels for a night or two. I ended up "living" at the Ramada for almost 2 months before I finally found a place to live. I liked the Ramada so much, I though of living there full time!
The entire hotel has a train theme to it. In fact, there is a real train that runs on a long few mile track around the entire property. You can park your car in the back lot, and ride the train to the hotel, or simply ride the train around the property for fun. Best part is that the train is free. The rooms are clean but a bit sparse. The staff is very friendly and I understand that the slot machines pay out pretty good in the casino. The room rates are very good. They have an excellent steak house as well as a pretty good Italian resturant onsite. The buffett is not that great as far as selection goes, but the food is good to eat. A new In and Out burger has just opened up next door, and there is a Subway next door at the gas station also. The Lounge always has a good band, and the Pavillion room has major entertainment depending on the week. There is also a big pool (in the shape of a train!) The hotel is located across the street from all the other hotels. It does not have a river view, but I think its the best deal in Laughlin!
